NO MERCY CHRISTMAS GIFT!!

This is a group gift caric I did for a client for Christmas.
I did a live Vegas themed wedding event for him and he LOVES the crazier NO MERCY stuff!
Truth be told this is my FAVORITE of all styles to work in and it's pure joy to work in a style that keeps me laughing while working and this one surely did! PLUS it was also the 1st file I ever worked on with my brand new Cintiq!
Bill has a GREAT sense of humor and is a fan of "TRUE (non-flattering, high ridiculing caricature" and also loves my Zeppelin piece, he's the 1st buyer of my Zep print which I plan to make available on cafepress soon.
(I ALSO HOOKED HIM UP WITH A REALLY COOL ZEPPELIN BAND'S T-SHIRT)

Clients comments:
I got the no mercy email and it is wicked. You got us good (down to the zits on my neck!) I can't wait until Christmas to lay it on my family. They will flip! She'll like ours. I got the party print and Zep yesterday. Very cool. I'll hang Zep in my office.

Your stuff is awesome. Let me know when you post new pieces on your site. If you start selling prints I'm in.

Everyone in my family is so hard to shop for at Christmas - these pics will be a huge hit. Everyone will get a good laugh.

Thanks again for everything. You have a nice Christmas, and an even better New Years! Stay in touch, talk to you soon.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS and MERRY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Hopefully those to who I sent ths card received them by now.
For everybody else-here it is!
HAPPY CHRISTMAS & MERRY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

CHRISTMAS CARD PEEK

LITTLE PIECE from card in progress...

Pulp Fiction Blood sample

This was the style for the Apocalypse cover...

Book cover project

Check out this cool ebook from Johnny Costic on scribd!
http://www.scribd.com/doc/42215854/FUN-WITH-GLOBAL-WARMING-and-THE-GENTLEMAN-S-GUIDE-TO-THE-APOCALYPSE
I did 8 of the panels on the cover.
It was a really fun project and Steve was awesome to work with!
The description of style I was given was a monochrome of the Pulp Fiction Blood sample in my portfolio.
I absolutely LOVE working in this gritty style and Steve gave me plenty of artistic freedom.

BAss Ale Crews-contd

More of the AWESOME Penn crew!
There were some people missing from the gig so I had to draw from pix-the one groups whole crew is from pix...Thanks again guys, it was a BLAST!

BAss Ale Crews-contd

More Bass teams, requesting diapers and rat bodies this time,...never a dull moment in this line of work!

Bass Ale Crews

LOTSA FuN with these crews too!
The fine folk at Penn Beer had me draw their individual teams on the Bass paper and, once again, some strange requests as the day went on, including cheeseburgers and 3 legs.....

Getting back to some live caricature work-here are some from the Bass Ale gigs.
Some really fun gigs with a LOT of crazy requests. (including my very first decapitated Bart Simpson)
What a month this November has been!-I've been blessed with some great gigs and am very grateful for it.
Thanks Tad & Chris-you made my November!
I also got the privilege of doing the great office teams in their Bass Ale glory and got a free case of beer:)!

THE FINEST DOG I KNEW...SO FINE...

RIP Mr. Jackson, the finest dog I ever knew... so fine!
This comical little guy has been the inspiration for so many of my doggy-doodles.
He made me laugh and listened to my singing daily.
He loved popcorn & hated rain and was better toilet trained than most kids! woohoo!
We loved this guy and he will be missed.

Dogs rule.
The only thing that sucks about dogs is they die.
